Part of a chain of barrier islands, this scenic park features the restored 1890 Boca Grande Lighthouse, nature trails that pass through a variety of habitats, some great birding sites, and shaded picnicking overlooking the ocean. Well mannered dogs are welcome in the park; they must be on no more than a 6 foot hand held leash and be cleaned up after promptly. Dogs are not allowed on beaches, swim areas, or buildings and they may not be tethered to trees, bushes, or park property. Dogs may not be left unattended.
