There is a myriad of recreational activities available at this 3,712 acre park that is also home to interesting ancient sites, some of the most scenic trails in the state, and a seasonal mountain lake. Dogs are allowed throughout the park and in the campground (2+ dogs) for no additional fee. There is a $40 one time fee per pet for the cabin, and only 2 dogs are allowed. Dogs must be current on all vaccinations, licensed, flea/tic free, and in good health. Dogs must be on no more than a 6 foot leash, cleaned up after, and may not be left unattended. The campground offers about 80 campsites, picnic tables, grills, and restrooms. The camping and tent areas also allow dogs. There is a dog walk area at the campground. Dogs are allowed in the camping cabins.
