A restaurant, pool and perch that's across the street from Iowa State's campus help make the Holiday Inn Ames Conference Center a top choice among our guests. With conference space for hundreds, the 75-room Holiday Inn might lead you to believe it's designed mainly for business travelers, but don't be fooled. With microwaves, mini-fridges and coffeemakers in every room — plus an indoor heated pool and kiddie pool on property — families are most welcome. All rooms also feature Wi-Fi, speakerphones, voicemail and complimentary local calls. On-site business services include copying, printing and faxing. When it's time to chill, head for the small fitness center, hot tub, indoor pool or cocktail lounge. The lobby restaurant serves American specialties for breakfast and dinner. Same-day dry cleaning is available. Across the street from Iowa State University, the Holiday Inn is within two miles of various restaurants. Popular campus attractions — the Hilton Coliseum, Jack Trice Stadium, Brunnier Art Museum and Reiman Gardens — are all less than two miles away. Story City Park, home to a 1913 carousel, is a 21-minute drive. Des Moines International Airport is 41 miles south. A "convenient" location, "friendly" staff and in-house restaurant have our guests singing the praises of the Holiday Inn Ames Conference Center.

Dogs up to 25 pounds are allowed. Dogs are allowed for a pet fee of $25 per pet per night.
