Free Wi-Fi, free breakfast and quick access to the ski slopes at Schweitzer Mountain top the list of perks at the non-smoking Guesthouse Lodge Sandpoint. At the Guesthouse Lodge, a rustic ski resort atmosphere invites guests to relax. The sixty rooms and suites were updated in 2011 and include microwave/mini-fridge combos, coffeemakers and flat-panel TVs with cable movie channels. Stoke up on complimentary breakfast before hitting the slopes, and enjoy a soothing soak in the 24-hour hot tub when you return from the day's adventures. If you've got work to finish, connect with free Wi-Fi, or send that important fax from the business center. Guests can also take advantage of the courtesy shuttle to downtown Sandpoint, as well as a 24-hour front desk and coin-operated laundry. Pets are permitted for an additional fee. The Guesthouse Lodge is on Highway 95, about 25 minutes from the Schweitzer Mountain Ski Resort and less than a mile from the seasonal shuttle to the base lodge. Shops and eateries in downtown Sandpoint are three minutes away, as is scenic Lake Pend Oreille and the Bonner County Fairgrounds. In the warmer months, guests can visit Silverwood, the largest theme park in the Northwest, or the Boulder Beach Water Park, both about a 30-minute drive. Sandpoint Airport is just two miles away. our guests say the "staff was excellent" at the "very comfortable and quiet" Guesthouse Lodge, "a great hotel that deserves more stars."

Dogs are welcome at this hotel.
