Each year on the last Thursday of each month from April (sometimes May due to weather) through October, the Panhandle Animal Shelter sponsors fundraising events around town at different restaurants, bars, breweries, wineries, or other business who want to participate and have a proper venue area. These events help support the non-profit's shelter, outreach programs and their alternatives to euthanasia. On October 28th the bakery will host the event from 4 pm until 7 pm. Their specialties include artisan cakes, authentic European breads, rolls, pastries, daily baked breads with organic choices, a full espresso/soda bar, and seasonal deck dining.
