Each year on the last Thursday of each month from April (sometimes May due to weather) through October, the Panhandle Animal Shelter sponsors fundraising events around town at different restaurants, bars, breweries, wineries, or other business who want to participate and have a proper venue area. These events help the non-profit shelter's outreach programs and their alternatives to euthanasia. August 29th's Yappy Hour at Trinity will be from 4 pm until 7 pm. Trinity at City Beach is a waterfront, fine dining establishment specializing in modern American cuisine. Dogs must be leashed and under their owner's control at all times.
