Idaho Falls, Idaho

Considered the city's ?crown jewel? of their parks, this joint endeavor of city and local residents covers 5 miles of paved paths on each side of the Snake River passing by many natural habitats, historical sites and points of interest along the way. Additionally there is easy access at several points, picnic areas, park resting benches, and drinking fountains. In addition to the beauty and health benefits of the trails, there are also a number of special activities afoot here - such as the Saturday morning Farmers Market, the Great Snake River Duck Race, special Festival days, concerts, and car and boat shows. Maps are available online or at the Idaho Falls Visitor Center at 630 W Broadway. Dogs are allowed on the Greenbelt; they must be leashed at all times and cleaned up after promptly.
