Following ridgelines for most of the way, this 13 mile trail features outstanding views of the Cabinet Mountains and countryside. It is listed as moderate. After turning on to Road 275, go 12 miles to Lunch Peak Road, turn left and go 4 miles to the trailhead just below Lunch Peak Lookout. Dogs are allowed on the trail; they may be off leash if under strict voice control and they must be leashed when passing populated and campground areas.
