This university arboretum in progress is a "living laboratory" for plant sciences/arts and upon completion will cover 160 acres with a variety of landscapes, habitats, several different gardens, exhibits, and more. The Welcome Garden, Hartley Garden, Idea Garden, and the Japan House are some of the areas already completed. Dogs are allowed throughout the park; they are not allowed in buildings. Dogs must be under their owner's control, leashed, and cleaned up after at all times.
