From a scarred wasteland to a lush recreational environment is this park's success story; there are 22 deep water ponds, miles of trails, abundant bird, flora, and fauna, and in spring?it blazes with wildflowers. Dogs are allowed throughout the park, in the camp area, and on the trails for no additional fee. Dogs may not be left unattended at any time, and they must be leashed and cleaned up after.
