The largest park in the state spreads along the shores of the El Dorado Reservoir and offer a full range of recreational pursuits. I addition it boasts an amphitheater and 7 different trails. Dogs of all sizes are allowed at no additional fee. Pets must be restrained by a camper, cage, hand-held leash, or tethered chain no longer than 10 feet at all times. Dogs may not be left unattended unless quiet and very well behaved. For cabin visitors, dogs may be tied up outside, and at night they must be crated. They are not allowed on swimming beaches, or in swimming areas that are delineated by buoys/markers, or in public buildings or structures. Dogs are allowed on the trails. The camping and tent areas also allow dogs. There is a dog walk area at the campground.
