The Trail of Fame is a walking tour of the Old Dodge City historic district. Sidewalk medallions and statuary mark the many famous and infamous denizens of historic Dodge City. They have also added movie and television stars that have portrayed famous Dodge Citizens. This is an ongoing project which is expected to continue for many years to come with up to 100 of the 24 inch in diameter bronze sidewalk medallions as well as a number of historic sculptures throughout the historic district. The tour starts at the Dodge City Convention and Visitors Bureau Information Center on Wyatt Earp Blvd near the Boot Hill Museum on the west end, and travels through the Dodge City Historic District to the newly restored Santa Fe Depot, Sundial Park and the railroad caboose on the east. Well behaved dogs are welcome to take this outdoor walking tour with their owners, but they must be leashed and please clean up after your pet.
