Located in the beautiful Lake Afton County Park, this public observatory is open to the general public on Friday and Saturday evenings and they offer a number of programs and stellar information. Although dogs are not allowed in the observatory, there is plenty to enjoy in the park outside. They suggest taking turns with pets instead of leaving them in vehicles. Dogs must be leashed and under their owner's control at all times.
