Open from May 1st to September 30th, this heritage site features the original home of Lincoln's mother, reproduced buildings where his father grew up and learned his trade and several other sites of interest. There is a picnic area with grills, tables and restrooms on site. Leashed dogs are allowed on the grounds; they are not allowed in buildings unless they can be hand carried, and they must be under their owner's control at all times.
