This estate is considered one of the state's most impressive antebellum plantations in that it is still inhabited by members from the original family. Family members still personally conduct tours of the home, and visitors will find many wonders around the more than 50 acres of landscaped grounds. Dogs are allowed for no additional pet fee. Dogs must be well behaved, stay off the furniture and beds, be leashed on the grounds, and cleaned up after at all times.
