The Original Fell's Point Ghost Walk Tour
The Original Fell's Point Ghost Walk Tour P. O. Box 38140 Baltimore, Maryland
21231 410-522-7400 Map
Voted the #1 tour by locals, this outdoor tour weaves the history and lore of a city rich with mystery. It was the birth place of the dangerous Baltimore Clipper ships, was the privateer capital during the War of 1812, and a bohemian enclave during the 60's. They tell fun and spooky stories about this shipbuilding town, the founder of the city, about bars, rough pirates, ladies of the night, typhoid outbreaks, Edgar Allen Poe, and the War of 1812. The tours are one hour long and less then a mile. Tours depart from Max's Darthouse on Broadway, at 731 S. Broadway near the Fell's Point Square in Baltimore, Maryland. The tours run rain or shine (unless dangerous weather), and leave promptly at 7 pm. Since tours sometimes sell out, usually in the fall-October especially, advance ticket purchases are recommended. Also, parking can be difficult on evenings and weekends, so they suggest the parking garage on Caroline Street as it is very close to the departure point. Well behaved, dogs on leash are allowed to join you on this walking tour, and please be prepared to clean up after your pet.
