This 5,810-acre hardwood forest park comes complete with rushing streams, scenic vistas, and a variety of recreational pursuits. Dogs of all sizes are allowed at no additional fee. Dogs may not be left unattended, and they must be quiet, be on no more than a 6 foot leash, and be cleaned up after. Dogs are allowed at Owens Creek Campground and on the trails. They are not allowed in camps 1, 2 and 4, the youth camp, or in the Adirondack backcountry shelters. Dogs are also not allowed at the waterfall in the adjoining state park, or left in the car at that location. This campground is closed during the off-season. The camping and tent areas also allow dogs. There is a dog walk area at the campground. There are no electric or water hookups at the campground.
