Travelers won't have to take a dive to view the turn-of-the-century shipwrecks located in the Alger Underwater Preserve in Munising Bay as the glass bottom boats allows great viewing below plus there are many interesting and historic sites above along the way as well. Their season runs from Memorial Day to mid-October. Although dogs are not allowed on the tour, free, secured kennels are provided in the lower level beneath the gift shop. It is requested that food and comfort items are brought for the dog.
