The Rainbow Lodge also offers watercraft rentals, and it sits at the entrance of Big Two Hearted River overlooking Lake Superior; the river is considered one of the 10 best trout streams in the US. Dogs are allowed at the lodge and on the watercraft rentals for no additional fee. Dogs must be quiet, well behaved, leashed, and cleaned up after at all times.
