With well-maintained, spacious rooms, a convenient location and free breakfast, our guests say the non-smoking, pet-friendly Econo Lodge & Suites is an excellent value for the price. The two-story, all-suite hotel with shingled exterior houses 40 rooms of generous size that feature traditional furnishings but modern comforts. Our guests love the layout of these rooms, with separate living and sleeping areas. There's Wi-Fi available in each suite, cable TV with DVD player, a sofa, a microwave, a mini-fridge, a coffeemaker and a work desk and chair. Road warriors can send faxes and make copies in the on-site business center, and the in-room phones have voicemail capabilities. Guests enjoy gourmet coffee and tea with their daily free continental breakfast. There are other amenities that come in very handy, like the laundry facilities and free parking for cars, trucks and buses. Pets are welcome for an additional fee. The Econo Lodge & Suites is located just off I-96, south of 28th Street, and four miles from restaurants and shops at the Centerpointe and Woodland malls. The hotel is within 11 miles of the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum, DeVos Place Convention Center and the Van Andel Arena. John Ball Park Zoo is 15 miles away. Gerald R. Ford International Airport is five miles from the hotel. Spacious suites and a nice, free breakfast for less than you'd expect make the Econo Lodge & Suites a bona fide bargain.
