This major festival offers numerous adventures in food, fun, and excitement, and pooches are allowed to bring their well mannered owners to all the days they are open. The event runs from mid-August to the end of September on weekends and Labor Day, but the 1st two days are devoted to the "dog". More than 70 vendors, training demonstrations, contests, educational classes, and more will be available. Dogs are welcome at this fun event; owners must have the Qualified Pet Admission and Waiver form fully completed and approved by Mid-America Festivals before the event or the pet will not be allowed entrance. There must be a separate form for each pet and pre-registry by mail may be made prior to August 1st. Upon arrival to the festival, enter at the Pet Gate. There is a $10 application fee (or $15 if a 3X3 photo of pet is not submitted). For those who did not pre-register, payment can be made at the gate as long as the completed forms and photos are available. Dogs must be friendly, well mannered, leashed, and under their owner's control at all times.
