This is a prairie lover's paradise with trails that meander thru one of the state's largest and best remnant prairies. There are plenty of birds and wildlife, a riverine forest path, and interpretive programs. Dogs are allowed throughout the park and in the campground for no additional fee. Dogs may not be left unattended, they must be kept on no more than a 6 foot leash, and cleaned up after at all times. Dogs are not allowed in buildings, on tours, or in beach areas.
