Lake Wappapello State Park

This park of over 1,800 acres, nestled by a lake and surrounded by Ozark forests, provides a variety of habitats, trails, and land and water recreation. Dogs of all sizes are allowed at no additional fee. Dogs may not be left unattended, and they must be leashed and cleaned up after in camp areas. Dogs are not allowed on the beach, in buildings, or tied to park trees. Dogs are allowed on the trails. For cabin visitors, dogs may be tied up outside, and at night they must be crated. Cabins are seasonal. The camping and tent areas also allow dogs. There is a dog walk area at the campground. There are no water hookups at the campground.
