In addition to a number of educational and recreational activities, this center has exhibits of assorted sea life, owls, fossils, and various other flora and fauna. Visitors can also enjoy the sheltered picnic areas, the playground, and nature trail. Dogs are allowed on the grounds and sometimes in the buildings. Dogs must be leashed and cleaned up after; pooper/scooper bags are provided.
