Located about 4 miles south of the actual camp, this monument details the northernmost point reached by Lewis and Clark, and was so named because it was the farthest point reached by the expedition. They had hoped to reach 50 degrees N Latitude to extend the boundaries of the Louisiana Purchase. Leashed dogs are allowed on site.
