Between 10 am and 6 pm from the Friday before Memorial Day until the day after Labor Day, dogs may be on the beach on a maximum 6 foot leash; for all other times they may be on a retractable leash up to 12 feet. Well trained dogs may be off-lead from Labor Day to the Friday before Memorial Day if they are under strict voice control and never more than 30 feet from the owner. Resident dogs must display a county registration tag plus a valid rabies tags, and non-resident dogs must have a valid rabies tag. Dogs must be under their owner's control and cleaned up after at all times.
