Renovated in 2011, the two-story Sleep Inn offers 61 rooms, some non-smoking, with coffeemakers, refrigerators, microwaves, cable TV with HBO and free Wi-Fi. Wake up to a complimentary American breakfast each morning. Stay connected to the office while you're away — check email and print from the guest computer off the lobby. Parking is free and space is available for buses. Located south of I-40 at exit 105, the Sleep Inn is two-and-a-half miles southeast of the center of Morganton and less than 60 miles east of Asheville. Grace Hospital is one mile north and Western Piedmont Community College is three miles west. For outdoor adventures, guests can drive 20 miles west to Lake James State Park. The heart of Pisgah National Forest is less than 50 miles northwest. Charlotte Douglas International Airport is 65 miles southeast. our guests say they dig the Sleep Inn's friendly staff, "convenient" location and "really nice" beds, pillows and showers.
