The 434 acres of this arboretum is considered to be one of the most beautiful natural garden settings in America with easy to difficult trails through a variety of scenic landscapes. There are garden demonstrations, educational programs, and development and research activities, with focus on conservation and preservation. Dogs are allowed throughout the park and on the trails. They are not allowed in any buildings or in the Bonsai garden. Dogs must be under their owner's control, leashed, and cleaned up after.
