Located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, Red Roof Hendersonville is close to four great outdoor recreational areas: Pisgah National Forest, with trails, waterfalls, and Sliding Rock-enjoy tubing, hiking, biking, fishing and horseback riding; DuPont State Forest, featuring over 10,000 acres, waterfalls, and 80 miles of roads and trails through scenic mountain terrain, is open year around for hiking, biking, swimming, horseback riding and fishing; Holmes Education State Forest features a talking tree trail, great for kids; and Chimney Rock Park with 75 mile views, nature trails and a nature center, is great for families. Nearby Lake Lure has a beach, boat tours, dinner cruisers, boats and canoeing. Our hotel is also close to the Western North Carolina Agricultural Center, Asheville Civic Center, the Mineral and Lapidary Museum, Thomas Wolfe Auditorium, Brevard Music Center, and Heritage Museum. Were only 21 miles from the fabulous Biltmore Estate, and were close to great festivals, including Garden Jubilee, Music on Main, NC Apple Festival, Flat Rock Music Festival, Foothills Highland Games, Carl Sandburg Music Festival, Art on Main, and the Mountain State Fair.
