This 250 acre recreation area has a restaurant, gift shop, large picnic area, nature walks, and a campground with 71 tent and 22 RV sites on a 1st come 1st served basis. One of the best viewing times here is in early summer when wildflowers blaze vast lawns of color, and there is a 70 foot falls for those that can do the 2.5 mile (round trip) strenuous hike. Dogs are allowed throughout the park and on the trails. Dogs must be well behaved, under owner's control, on no more than a 6 foot leash, and cleaned up after at all times. This rv park is closed during the offseason. The camping and tent areas also allow dogs. There is a dog walk area at the campground. There are no electric or water hookups at the campgrounds.
