Although dogs are not allowed inside the interpretive center, there is plenty of grass, shade, and natural areas to explore outside. The center details the history of the area, of Lewis and Clark's journey, the growth of modern irrigation and energy industries, the fur trade era, and of Fort Buford. Dogs must be leashed and under their owner's control at all times.
