A historic journey back in time to when the west was being settled; the windmills allowed life where water was scarce. From 6 feet to 20 feet in diameter, these windmills vary in size and there are 30 presently on site with 95 more to come-making it the largest collection of standing towers. Also on site is a turn of the century house, an eatery open Saturday nights, a store (open by appointment) full of work by local artisans, and numerous festivals/events. Leashed dogs are allowed on the grounds; they are not allowed in buildings.
