Offering a long natural, cultural and military history, this historic outpost and museum covering 22,000 acres of scenic Pine Ridge scenery now also offers a recreational as well as an educational destination. There is a seasonal restaurant, a convenience store in the Activities Center, and various tours available. Dogs are allowed for in the cabins for no additional fee; they must be kept leashed and cleaned up after. Dogs are not allowed in lodge rooms or the activities building.
