Visitors can learn the history of the railroad dating back to the early 1800s and of its importance in the development of the country. In addition to the exhibits and railcars on site, this is the state's largest and longest tourist railroad, and it runs from Fremont to Hooper. Dogs are allowed on the grounds; they are not allowed on the trains. A small dog that can be carried is allowed in the museum. Dogs must be leashed and under their owner's control.
