This picturesque park, rich in history, is home to one of the state's most comprehensive outdoor/environmental education programs, and provides a variety of outdoor recreation. Dogs of all sizes are allowed at no additional fee. Dogs may not be left unattended in the cabins, and they must be leashed at all times, and cleaned up after. Dogs are not allowed in the pool area or buildings, and they may be left tied outside only if they will be quiet and well behaved. Dogs are allowed on the trails. The state reservation phone number is 402-471-1414. The camping and tent areas also allow dogs. There is a dog walk area at the campground. Dogs are allowed in the camping cabins. There are no water hookups at the campground.
