To outline our adoption program, we require a fenced yard in most cases, the dog must be an indoor pet and a member of the family and you must have time to give the dog the attention it requires and deserves. Italian Greyhound Rescue is an organization that receives Italian Greyhounds who have been turned in for various reasons with housebreaking issues and "not knowing the breed" being at the top. Italian Greyhounds are typically, very sensitive and 'needy', they want to connect to their owners and be part of their lives....if the dog is unhappy and misunderstood, the owner will also be unhappy.
