Ponds, wetlands, woods, a diversity of habitats, a network of multi-use trails that also connect up with the 51 mile Mt. Monadnock/Mt. Sunapee Trail, historic niches, and a bit of seclusion make this a popular exploring area. Dogs of all sizes are allowed for no additional fee. Dogs must be well behaved, leashed, cleaned up after, and owners are responsible for them at all times. Dogs may not be left unattended in any vehicle, camper, carrier, or enclosure at any time. Dogs are allowed on the trails and in the campground, but not in picnic areas or on the beach.
