A public, sculpture garden of quiet, powerful symbolism, it is one of the largest civil rights memorials in the US and gives reflection to Freedom through the inscriptions, the 11 Africa, black granite columns, reflecting pool, gardens, and the bronze bell at its center that chimes throughout the day. Dogs are allowed throughout the park. Dogs must be under their owner's control, leashed, and cleaned up after at all times.
