Summer and fall camps are offered, and depending on the camp anywhere from 25 to 50 choices of activities are offered daily - including just relaxing too. Summer camp has the most activities and is located on the 250 acre Marlboro College campus - complete with an onsite swimming pond for water-loving pups. The smaller fall camp is at the Mountaineer Inn and offers a variety of land and aquatic fun, hiking, gondola rides, horseback riding, and much more. Some classes they offer include all levels of agility, Treibball, basic to competition obedience, exercises, K9 scent fun, lure coursing, tricks/games, and reading a dog's body language. Workshops and Demos include the Tellington Touch, dog grooming, animal communication, carting, and natural healing remedies. Lectures cover behaviors, evolution or the biology of dogs, a Dogs View of the World, and raising a dog for shelter assistance or as a leader. And, for fun there are contests, a doggie costume party, craft projects, Pawtraits, and shopping at the Camp Store. Accommodations choices for you and your pet are woodsy cabins and single, double, or triple room dorms - all with shared baths. Accommodations for the fall camp are available at the Stowe Mountaineer Inn. Meals, a week's lodging, and programs are included in the camping fee. Call directly to inquire about current vaccination requirements. Dogs must be leashed in training and trafficked areas, may not be left uncrated alone in the room, are not allowed in the dining room, and must be cleaned up after promptly at all times.
