This living history museum offers more than just a step back in time with beautifully manicured lawns, lots of shaded areas and trails, various special events such as the Spring Planting Festival, flea and craft markets, master craftsmen demonstrations, and a bakery featuring daily, fresh "flat cakes". Dogs are welcome here for no additional fee. Dogs must be under their owner's control, leashed, and cleaned up after at all times. Dogs are not allowed in any of the buildings.
