This neighborhood park has a long cultural history and is known for being the place that hosted the first officially recorded, organized baseball game on June 19, 1846. There are gaming courts/fields, lots of shade, and a fenced in dog run area. Well behaved dogs are allowed throughout the park on leash and they must be cleaned up after at all times; the exception being when they are in the fenced dog run area.
