Tall Ship Silva
Tall Ship Silva Lower Water Street/H 102 Halifax, Nova Scotia
B3J 3N5 902-429-9463 Map
In addition to detailing the maritime history of this beautifully restored ship, originally built in Karlstad, Sweden and offering tours around the harbor, they also offer land based venues and historic sites including the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic. They are located on the QueenÂ's Wharf at the end of Prince Street, and open from the beginning of May to the end of October. Although dogs are not allowed in the museum or on the museum ships, they are allowed on the Tall Ship Silva (no fee), the boardwalk, and around the grounds on leash. Dogs must be very well mannered, leashed, and under their owner's control at all times.
