Located at the scenic Glen Highland Farm, there are 175 acres to romp and play unleashed among beautiful meadows, fields, swimming areas, and forests of hemlock; there is also a 5 acre parcel that is totally fenced for off leash play as well. Although ment to be fun and relaxing there are many organized play, educational activities and workshops for bonding/learning with your canine companions. Some of the activities at this camp include an agility course, herding, rally obedience, treibball, tracking and scenting games, water sports and canine related lectures. Accommodations of cabins, cottages, RV rentals, and owner RV spaces are available for an additional fee or there is lodging in town. Meals, snacks, and activities with skilled instructors are included as a separate fee. Meals include local, organic, and free-range products and meats. Facilities include bathrooms, showers, a doggie kitchen, an outdoor dining pavilion, and rest areas throughout the farm. Their season runs from June 1st thru the 1st week of October. Some of the proceeds from these canine camping adventures go to assist rescued dogs thru the Sweet Border Collie Rescue. Dogs must be hound and human friendly and have proof of current rabies vaccinations.
