Clermont State Historic Site
Clermont State Historic Site One Clermont Avenue Germantown, New York
12526 518-537-4240 Map
Looking much like it did before the Great Depression this historic estate was home to 7 generations before being gifted to the state, and sits on 500 scenic acres along the Hudson River. There are several outbuildings, gardens, beautiful picnic areas, carriage and hiking trails, a museum store, and they host a variety of activities and events throughout the year. Dogs are allowed to explore the grounds, but they are not allowed in any of the buildings. Dogs must be well mannered, under their owner's control, and leashed and cleaned up after at all times.
