Hudson Highlands State Park
Hudson Highlands State Park H 9D Beacon, New York
10512 Map
Consisting of nearly 6,000 acres of undeveloped preserve, this day-use park is a perfect place for a number of outdoor activities, and the extensive trails system goes from easy to challenging with some outstanding views. Dogs are allowed throughout the park on no more than a 10 foot lead and they must be cleaned up after. They suggest not bringing dogs on a hot day, and to always bring extra water for them when hiking upland.
