This park features the Rocky River and massive cliffs that rise above the willows, sycamores and cottonwoods. There are many trails in the park that wind through the valley's deep floodplain forests, meadows and wildflowers. The Valley Parkway Trail is a 13 mile trail which goes from the Scenic Park Picnic Area off the Detroit Road entrance in Lakewood, south along Valley Parkway to Bagley Road in Bereau, connecting with Mill Stream Run Reservation Metropark. Park entrances are off of Detroit Road, Riverside Drive, Wooster and Mastick roads, Brookway Lane, Cedar Point, Old Lorain, Spafford, Barrett and Bagley roads, and Shepard Lane. Dogs are allowed on a 8 foot or less leash and need to be cleaned up after.
