Located in the heart of Appalachia, this park offers forested hills and a lake. Dogs are allowed at the park including on the 4 miles of hiking trails and in the campgrounds. Dogs cannot go onto the swim beach but they can go into the water at the boat dock. Just be sure to watch out for the boats. Pets must be leashed, cleaned up after and are not allowed inside any buildings. This park permits hunting in certain areas.
