Rent a canoe and travel along the scenic Hocking River. The river is a class one river and is popular for swimming and fishing. Canoe rentals are about $25 per hour and dogs are allowed on the canoes. Be prepared for any weather change by bringing rain gear, a hat, change of clothes and sunscreen. Remember to waterproof your personal belongings. Glass or styrofoam containers are not permitted. To get there from Columbus, take Route 33 south through Lancaster. After your enter Hocking County, turn left into Rockbridge, County Road 10.
