Visit the Midwest's only drive thru safari park with your pooch. Tour the 100 plus acre preserve and see hundreds of rare and exotic animals from around the world. Many of the animals roam free within the park. Dogs must remain in the car at the drive thru section. The park is open during the spring, summer and fall, rain or shine. During the summer the park is in full operation and the rates are about $16 per person ages 7 and up. Children 3 to 6 pay about $10. Children 2 years or less, and dogs get in for free. To get there from Sandusky, go 17 miles west of Cedar Point via Route 6 west to Route 2 west. Exit Route 53 north/Catawba Island.
