This heavily wooded state park offers scenic hiking trails and swimming. Dogs are allowed at the park including on 10 miles of hiking trails and in the campgrounds. While they cannot go onto the swim beach, dogs can go into the water at the shoreline outside of the swim beach area. Pets must be leashed, cleaned up after and are not allowed inside any buildings. This park permits hunting in certain areas. To get there from Cleveland, take Interstate 480 west to Route 10 west and continue to Route 20 west. Then go to Route 58 south and go ten miles. The park is 2.5 miles south of Wellington on the east side of the road.
